Mouthwatering desserts from the world of ''Scooby-Doo''
Scooby-Doo eats a lot of chocolate for a dog...
Let us inspire you with this collection of the sweetest treats from Scooby-Doo. While all of Mystery Inc. runs on sugar (they drink malts practically every single episode!), most of these desserts are curations or creations of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo.
Cotton Candy
In the Scooby-Doo! Where are You? episode "Foulplay in Funland", Velma loses her glasses while driving a bumper car and plows through a cotton candy stand.
Malts and Shakes
Malts and shakes make many appearances throughout Scooby-Doo! Where are You?, usually ordered by Scooby and Shaggy.
Doughnuts
Another favorite dessert in the Scooby-Doo universe: chocolate doughnuts. If Scooby-Doo is a dog, should he be eating chocolate? No, but he eats them with reckless abandon anyways! These doughnuts were originally for the Critter Getters, a rival detective agency in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.
Ice Cream Sundae
Speaking of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, we can't forget the humongous sundae that Scooby eats in one bite during the theme song.
Cupcakes
In the "Scooby in Wonderland" episode of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show, Scooby and Shaggy eat what appears to be red velvet cupcakes at the Mad Hatter's tea party.
Cass Elliot's Golden Caramel Bar
This candy bar is a clue, evidence, and a cry for help all in one! In The New Scooby-Doo Movies episode "The Haunted Candy Factory", Cass Ellion (you know, from the Mamas and the Papas!) is being held hostage in the Sugar Plum Candy Factory and she throws a candy bar with a note and a key tied to it to the Mystery Machine. The gang rescues Cass and they realize that someone is smuggling gold through Cass's candy bars!
Marshmallows
While escaping with Cass Elliot, the gang falls through a trap door at the Sugar Plum Candy Factory and end up in a room full of marshmallows.
Ice Cream
Ice cream, specifically strawberry ice cream, is the most popular sweet treat for Mystery, Inc.
Chocolate Bars
Taken right off the production line at the Sugar Plum Candy Factory, and you bet your bottom dollar that Shaggy shoves all of chocolate bars into his mouth and eats them in one bite.
Cake
In Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf, Scooby and his friends hide inside a cake to avoid their scary captors.
Fruitmeirs
Possibly the weirdest dessert on this list, Fruitmeirs are described as not ice cream and not frozen yogurt...but they glow in the dark and are apparently delicious. In an attempt to frame Fruitmeir, the Slime Mutant used the Fruitmeirs unfrozen mix as the Slime Mutant's...slime... Lemon lime flavored!
Let Them Eat Cake!
This is a cake from the Let Them Eat Cake! Bakery in Crystal Cove. It was featured in an episode where Shaggy and Scooby ate everything in the bakery (and several other nearby restaurants) in an effort to bulk up to take on the Gluten Demon.
