During the Golden Age of Animation, a good show might have gotten a spinoff show to capitalize on its entertainment value. But what about a great cartoon, a true classic? Now that might have gotten up to fourteen spinoffs. Spinoff shows are often the ticket to animation immortality, but which shows got spinoffs? And how many spinoffs did they get? Time to test your cartoon trivia knowledge: spinoffs edition!
To keep things simple, we are using the Wikipedia definition of the word "spinoff" which is "any narrative work derived from an already existing work that focuses on different aspects from the original work,". So, according to this definition, we are not including reboots, parodies, or remakes. For example, The Perils of Penelope Pitstop is a spinoff to Wacky Races (1968), but Wacky Races (2017) is not considered a spinoff because it's a reboot. Now, onto the quiz! Answer how many spinoff shows (if any!) you think each classic cartoon got.
