The Peter Potamus Show

Peter Potamus (a purple hippopotamus), and his traveling companion So-So (a monkey), fly back and forth through time in a balloon participating in historic events. Whenever they get into serious enough trouble, as they do in every episode, Peter defeats his enemies with his trademark "Hippo Hurricane Hollar." Other cartoon shorts include, "Breezly and Sneely," and "Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey."

Peter becomes marshal on a train being held up by outlaw Jesse Jimmy. Using his hippo-hurricane holler, Peter sends Jesse to jail in the caboose. / Realizing that he could fire the guards if he had superpowers, the King orders Whirlin' Merlin to transform him into a superhero.

Peter and So-So come to the aid of a village being threatened by Clankenstein's monster. After all else fails in their attempts to destroy it, Peter uses his hippo-hurricane holler and turns the monster into a pile of junk. / Breezly and Sneezly plan to audition for Bob Hoofer in order to travel around the world with his performing troupe. / When the King announces plans to go camping alone, the guards must protect him undetected!
