The Peter Potamus Show

Peter Potamus (a purple hippopotamus), and his traveling companion So-So (a monkey), fly back and forth through time in a balloon participating in historic events. Whenever they get into serious enough trouble, as they do in every episode, Peter defeats his enemies with his trademark "Hippo Hurricane Hollar." Other cartoon shorts include, "Breezly and Sneely," and "Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey."

Peter drops in on a medieval village and volunteers to return the excessive taxes paid to a tyrant by the town. / Sneezly's allergies are bothering him so he and Breezly break into Camp Frostbite once again, where they encounter Colonel Fuzzby while searching for medicine. / Trouble occurs when Irving the Undeserving seizes the King's castle.

Peter gets William Tell in trouble with the King. Tell is ordered to shoot an apple off of his son's head, and Peter substitutes for the son. / Peter helps Miles Standoffish ask for the hand of his beloved Priscilla. / Peter and So-So arrive in the days of the Revolutionary War. They try to warn the people that the Redcoats are coming, but the residents won't listen to them.
