The Peter Potamus Show

Peter Potamus (a purple hippopotamus), and his traveling companion So-So (a monkey), fly back and forth through time in a balloon participating in historic events. Whenever they get into serious enough trouble, as they do in every episode, Peter defeats his enemies with his trademark "Hippo Hurricane Hollar." Other cartoon shorts include, "Breezly and Sneely," and "Yippee, Yappee, and Yahooey."

Peter unwillingly gets "drafted" as a candidate for idol of a jungle tribe and finds running for office nothing like our own national elections. / Colonel Fuzzby gets a furlough from Camp Deepfreeze only to discover that his South Seas retreat is the favorite vacation spot of Breezly Bruin. / Annoyed by the Goofy Guards' ineptness, the King purchases a robot to protect him.

Peter and So-So discover they don't stand a ghost of a chance with a real live apparition when they try to break the 300-year-old spell on McGrusome's Castle. / All's fair in love and war when Breezly is caught taking a box of chocolates from the Camp Frostbite PX for his girl friend. / During a day of hunting, a mischievous duck plagues the King and his guards.
